Your audiologist will do a complete examination of your ear health and perform a full hearing test to determine your current level of hearing. Measurements and an earmold may also be taken during your consultation. We will explain the results to you and discuss if you could benefit from a hearing aid. We will be here to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have. There are many types of hearing aid devices available, and our consultants will advise and work with you in finding the best aid which fits your needs.

During your follow up appointment, you will be fitted with your new hearing aid. Your audiologist will spend time programming your new aid to ensure it operates at the optimum level for you. They will also show you how to maintain them yourself including adjusting the volume, changing the battery and cleaning your aid at home. It can take some time to adjust to wearing your new hearing aid, but we will be here to provide you with ongoing support and advise you how to ease into continued wearing of them. During your follow up visits we can make any adjustments if necessary to ensure you are settling into your new aids with ease.
